Business overview​

Qualus have developed their Sfere Technology, small pea sized polymer balls, that replaces some of the water in the leather tanning process to enhance the mechanical action inside the drum. The Sferes massage chemicals into the structure of the leather, helping to reduce the amount of water and chemicals required, creating a greener and more sustainable process.​

CPI value creation​

CPI and Qualus worked together through the development of their process with a review of their technology. This review covered the functional mechanisms associated with the composites along with a shortlist of practical implementations for any potential added functionality.
