Business overview​

Descycle have developed a disruptive metal processing technique using Deep Eutectic Solvents (DES) to extract gold, nickel and other precious metals from electronic waste, helping to tackle the recycling problem associated with this waste stream.​

CPI value creation​

Descycle and CPI are collaborating on the development and feasibility of their electronic waste recycling process using their predetermined DES formulation. This process has been worked up between the technical teams at both organisations from small scale lab based work into small scale pilot plant facilities based in CPI laboratories. CPI has been an integral part of the process development for Descycle’s technology to this point and will continue to work together to build confidence and scale up the technology.​
