How CPI’s New Facility Impacts The North East

The SME workshop was held on Tuesday 20th November 2012 at CPI’s National Printable Electronics Centre, which is located at The North East Technology Park (NETPark) in Durham.
The primary focus of the event was to showcase the potential applications and impact that printable electronics will have on the print and design industry.
Overall the day was a success with the attendance of over 40 delegates consisting of printers, packaging, creative designers, brand owners, electrical designers & PCB manufacturers. The day included presentations from CPI, OLED lighting pioneer Richard Kirk and hybrid electronics specialist Neil Chilton. Delegates also toured CPI’s open access prototyping and scale up facilities.
