Next Generation Cancer Diagnostics
About Next Generation Cancer Diagnostics
Accelerating earlier cancer detection and precision medicine through multi-omics, AI and next-generation diagnostics
The Next Generation Cancer Diagnostics programme (NG-Dx), led by CPI and funded by the UK Government’s Office for Life Sciences, is an 18-month initiative launching in January 2026 to accelerate earlier cancer detection and precision medicine. The programme is designed to help overcome some of the major barriers preventing next-generation diagnostics from reaching routine clinical use.
