This five day challenge started on Monday morning as the group of cyclists departed from Bristol. The five day ride will be a test of endurance as the cyclists make their way North to their final destination of Glasgow on Friday 5th July, stopping at all of the HVMC Centres on route. Last night (3rd July) the group cycled into The Wilton Centre, home of CPI’s Head office, as they completed the 185km third day of the challenge. Today the cyclists will call to both CPI sites in Darlington and Sedgefield before making their way further North to Gretna Green – the finish line for day 4.

All of the money raised by CPI will go to the Middlesbrough Football Club (MFC) Foundation. The MFC Foundation aims to raise aspirations and improve the life chances of young people and adults across Teesside. They work in some of the most disadvantaged areas of Teesside, engaging with those who are hard to reach through the delivery of inspiring sport, education, health and inclusion projects. Find out more about the inspiring work of the MFC Foundation, visit their website here.

Graeme Cruickshank, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at CPI said: I am delighted that CPI is involved in this challenge. Completing the five days will be a huge achievement for everyone involved, not only is it a great opportunity to network with the other HVMC centres but we are raising money for such a great charity.”

Finally, CPI would like to thank Middlesbrough based On a Roll Sandwiches for their kind donation of sandwiches for the riders, these will be very much appreciated during the challenge.
