Guide for Regulatory Consultants

As a regulatory affairs provider in HealthTech, you could work with SMEs receiving funding.

On behalf of Innovate UK, CPI and ABHI will deliver the Health Technology Regulatory and Innovation Programme, to support small and medium-sized (SME) businesses to navigate the complex and ever-changing HealthTech regulatory landscape.

The programme will support SMEs who rely on external expertise to commercialise new products, or re-register existing products in-line with new regulatory requirements.

Around 200 UK SMEs are expected to benefit from a share of the £6.3 million. When a company is approved for grant funding, it is required to find and appoint its own regulatory support provider.

As a regulatory consultant, you cannot apply directly to the programme, but we encourage you to share details about it with your clients who may be interested so that they can apply. If they do so, you will then be asked some questions to in order for the programme team to conduct due diligence.

For further information, please see the FAQ section or contact a member of the project team.
