Diagnostics North East 2020
Diagnostics North East provides timely and seamless services to support both industry and academia in the diagnostic sector. Diagnostics North East is an initiative to bring together the various research infrastructures, capabilities and resources that map to the development, research and innovation of diagnostic technologies. It is available to both academic and commercial partners.
As a single cohesive structure this leads to greater efficiencies, more visibility and greater opportunities to improve patient health and wellbeing through a common vision and a common approach. On behalf of Diagnostics North East, a partnership between the Academic Health Science Network for the North East and North Cumbria, The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Newcastle University, are organising the ‘Diagnostics North East Conference 2020’ focussing on the development, evaluation and adoption of technologies into healthcare systems. The conference will be held at St James’ Park (the home of Newcastle United), on the 30th April 2020 and will include keynote speakers as well as interactive group sessions with key experts. The aim of the conference is to showcase the diagnostic resources and expertise available to support researchers, clinicians, and industry in developing and deploying new and innovative diagnostic technologies. The event will provide opportunities to meet with key experts and to discuss how they can support the development, evaluation and adoption of technologies into healthcare systems. The event will provide the delegates with the information they need to partner and exploit the world-class resources available.Previous conferences have attracted over 200 delegates from industry, academia, clinical researchers, regulatory and funding bodies as well as adoption agencies.
