Diagnostics North East
CPI’s Tom Beale and Wayne Morton presented at the 2019 Diagnostics North East event.
Discover their presentation about how CPI supports companies to develop and manufacture medical devices, with market adoption in mind.
Diagnostics North East is an initiative that brings together the various research infrastructures, capabilities and resources that map to the development, research and innovation of diagnostic technologies available to both academic and commercial partners into a single cohesive structure that would lead to greater efficiencies, more visibility and greater opportunities to improve patient health and wellbeing through a common vision and a common approach.
The event will provide opportunities to meet with key experts and to discuss how they can support the development, evaluation and adoption of technologies into healthcare systems. Delegates will leave with all the information they need to partner and exploit the world-class resources available.
On 10th April the afternoon preceding the Diagnostics North East conference, the NIHR Newcastle In Vitro Diagnostics Co-operative (Newcastle MIC) will host a workshop to give some insights in the key steps and methods for evidence generation for clinical tests and medical devices. At the end of the workshop attendees will have a clearer idea of how to conduct research to aid generation of the evidence required to support adoption within the NHS. The workshop will be held in the Biomedicine West Wing Lecture Theatre.
