Animal meat has been the main source of protein in developed markets for years and with a world population anticipated to reach 10 billion by 2050, this demand for protein will only ever increase. Coupled with increased demand, is a shift of changing consumer behaviour towards the promise of a healthier diet and to improve sustainability which has seen the market for alternative proteins grow significantly.
In this webinar, we will discuss the technical challenges in the extraction and purification of alternative proteins. Focus will be given to the selection of downstream processing (DSP) technologies and how an optimised combination of these is key for commercialisation.
