The AIMday AI for Biotechnology is taking place on January 14, 2019 in the Urban Science Building here in Newcastle to discuss specific industry problems and challenges related to the development and adoption of AI technologies for enhanced decision making in Biotechnology.

AIMday AI for Biotechnology 2019, organised by the EPSRC funded Synthetic Portabolomics: Leading the way at the crossroads of the Digital and the Bio Economies” programme grant (https://​portabolomics​.ico2s​.org/).

The event is hosted by the Interdisciplinary Computing and Complex Biosystems (ICOS) research group and the Centre for Synthetic Biology and the Bioeconomy (CSBB) at Newcastle University.

The academic mixture that will be available at the AIMday has world leading expertise in the areas Computing Science, AI, Data analytics, Data Mining, Computational Modeling, Synthetic Biology, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Molecular Microbiology and Responsible Innovation.

We welcome questions from companies, NGOs, government departments, research instituties and applied researchers who want to maximize the benefits from AI in Biotechnology. Learn more about the AIMday concept.

We look forward to welcoming companies, organizations and academic researchers to this event on January 14, 2019 at Newcastle University to discuss specific industry challenges related to the development and adoption of AI technologies for enhanced decision making in Biotechnology. With this AIMday we seek to help companies improve their product performance, reduce failure, optimise workflows and consider more innovative approaches to their core business with the help of academic expertise in AI and biotechnology.

Registration for companies is now open and will close on Sunday 4th November 2018 at 12 midnight. Registration for academic scientists will open Thursday 1st November 2018 12 noon and closes Thursday 20th December 2018 at 12 midnight. Registration for all participants is free of charge.
