We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our in-house team who is self-motivated, versatile and gets stuff done! This is an extremely varied role covering events, webinars, websites, content, social media, marketing automation, pay per click advertising, podcasts, videos … and anything else you can bring to the table. If you want an twelve-month crash course in the wild world of technology and innovation marketing. This job is for you.
This role can be what you make it, and we will flex to your interests and skills. In return, we want to hear and implement your ideas on how to improve our activities. We are a relaxed, fun and passionate team with a diverse range of skills and experience. We cover all aspects of the marketing space under one roof and are continually learning, optimising and launching new activities.
At its heart, you will be working with the communications team to develop, plan and deploy strategies and tactics that build buzz, drive brand visibility and generate demand in the market.
The job would suit somebody who has experience in a similar role either in-house or in-agency and has excellent communication, project management and interpersonal skills. With variety comes complexity, and you will need to manage multiple projects and multiple stakeholders simultaneously. Data is at the heart of our activities, and a good understanding of digital marketing tools, techniques, and best practice will be highly beneficial.

The person we are seeking
We are looking for an individual who:
- Has relevant experience as in a similar role
- Holds excellent communication, project management and interpersonal skills with the strong ability to cut through complexity, while managing multiple projects and multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Possesses strong planning, organisation and time management skills with an ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure, with attention to detail.
- Has a mix of creative and analytical capability
- Is educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a marketing or related subject
It is essential that the successful candidate is educated to degree level in Marketing or a Marketing related subject.

The role is fixed term for 12 months.
Occasional travel to our CPI Darlington Site will be required.
