Why this role is important for CPI’s work

The Facilities team is responsible for managing and supporting the smooth running of CPI’s facilities, ensuring all contracted FM services meet legal, statutory and client specifications. The Facilities Coordinator Apprentice will provide a full range of support to the Facilities Management (FM) team as follows:

• To support the management the FM action log to ensure actions are closed out by the team.
• To support with the coordination of the management of CPI lease agreements, and assist with the management and maintenance of a system to collate information for charging non-contractual service provisions (such as telephone, postal, photocopying charges and room hire/​refreshments).
• To assist with the ongoing development of ISO14001, assisting with impact assessment, performance audits and the identification and implementation of continuous improvements.

The successful candidate will be based at Sedgefield however travel to other CPI sites is required (Wilton, Darlington and Newton Aycliffe)

Alongside the duties and responsibilities of the role, the successful candidate will work towards completion of their Level 3 apprenticeship, supported by the company.

The person we are seeking

We are looking for candidates who have 5 GCSEs grade 9 – 4/A*-C (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics. The successful candidate will have experience of using Microsoft Office systems (such as Word, Excel etc.) This opportunity requires an ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people in a variety or formats. You must have a strong attention to detail and have the desire to complete work to a high standard.

Additional information

This role is fixed term for up to two years.
