Why this role is important for CPI’s work
The purpose of this role is to provide an easy, no barriers, access to engineering services for internal and external customers that maximises the utilisation of our in-house people and resources, managing our use of contractors and vendors. The role is expected to work across all the CPI technologies, however the Senior Asset Development Engineer will specialise in and provide support to dedicated business units.
Duties of the role include:
- To scope Engineering multiple work requests received from platforms for safety, limitations and impact, producing budget estimates
- To produce interim project plans for work requests and agree project plan with customers to set and manage customer expectation
- To work with sustaining maintenance team leaders to obtain resources to complete projects in house and to agreed schedules in order to meet customer expectation
- To work closely with the dedicated platform operations team to understand platform priorities, attending planning meetings as required.
The person we are seeking
It is essential you are educated to HNC or Foundation Degree level (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline plus significant industrial experience at a senior level, or you have significant industrial experience leading within an electrical and mechanical engineering role. We are looking for a practical biased Multi-skilled Engineer with experience of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation systems, along with having direct experience of pharma process industries and knowledge of pharma, bio-pharma equipment and technology. The successful candidate will be flexible to operate as the business needs as you will be expected to spend approximately 75% of time at host site.
