The UK’s pharmaceutical and fine chemical industry is accelerating development of a new generation of manufacturing processes, thanks to a new £56 million medicines manufacturing innovation facility.
The state-of-the-art Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre (MMIC) will be located in Renfrewshire, Scotland, and led by the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) in partnership with the University of Strathclyde, the Medicines Manufacturing Industry Partnership (MMIP), and founding industry partners, AstraZeneca and GSK.
The centre will ensure the UK is a technology and innovation leader in small molecule pharmaceutical manufacturing, thereby boosting the competitiveness and productivity of the sector as a whole.
Consequently, there is now an opportunity for a talented and experienced PA, to work directly for the Managing Director. The role holder will provide high level, PA support and should have significant experience of working with senior leaders. As this role will form part of a new and developing team within CPI, it is essential that candidates are able to work using their own initiative and take a lead role in providing a full administration service.
