The centre will ensure the UK is a technology and innovation leader in small molecule pharmaceutical manufacturing, thereby boosting the competitiveness and productivity of the sector as a whole.
Consequently, there is now an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced individual to develop and lead the Technology function; enabling the development of scientific knowledge and practice within MMIC, while being accountable for the development and delivery of the technology strategy. This role reports to the MMIC Managing Director, and forms part of the MMIC leadership team. The role holder will also take up a Professor of Practice role within the University of Strathclyde (UoS), MMIC’s research partner, for an initial period to lead the University’s partnership activities.
As the Technology Director, you will be responsible for the delivery and ongoing development of the MMIC technology strategy over short and longer-term horizons, contributing your expert knowledge to inform that strategy.
