The Role

CPI is looking to recruit an Electronic Printing Specialist to provide technical expertise, capability and input in the design and development of printing processes for new electronic circuit products. You will draw upon your technical expertise in developing and running industrial printing processes to ensure the selection, optimisation and development of printing processes that are suitable for printing electronic circuits to a range of stakeholders across the organisation.

Duties of the role will include:

  • To lead the selection of appropriate processes and parameters to achieve printed electronic circuits. This will include use of screen printing, flexographic and gravure techniques.
  • To lead the development of improvements to relevant processes, including specifying, justifying CapEx and commissioning upgrades to equipment.
  • To work with a broader development team to ensure that appropriate printing processes are integrated into the entire new product design and assembly processes.
  • To provide specialist printing expertise, advice and reports to customers to help them achieve their objectives.
  • To provide direction to the team to deliver printed circuit for supply to customers and collaborative projects, formulating and presenting possible solutions, providing advice upon request or at own initiative, building an internal reputation as a reliable and credible authority.

The Person

Candidates must hold an appropriate qualification (see job description for details) in a Scientific/Engineering discipline plus relevant experience at a senior level. The job holder must be comfortable with maintaining consistent compliance with all relevant Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE), quality and best practice requirements.
