Why this role is important for CPI’s work
Due to the continued growth of our incredible organisation, we have an opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join us.
At CPI our incredible people really matter, meaning we continuously strive to improve our people offering whilst continuing to grow at pace as a company. Reporting to the People Director, this role will work with leaders in allocated business areas to build people engagement, capability, and performance to enable the area to achieve its business plan contributing to CPI’s company objectives.

Working together is our superpower, the HR team consists of 3 additional HRBPs, 3 L&DBPs, 1 L&DBP-apprentice, 1 Talent Acquisition BP, 1 HR Projects and Operations Manager, 2 HR advisors, 4 HR assistants, who are led by the People Director.
Through effective internal collaboration, we work purposefully whilst supporting one another. We are solutions-focused and empowered to work together to deliver HR excellence.
Role & Responsibilities:
Be an expert relating to HR legislation, policies, processes and innovative practices and proactively advise the business accordingly
Assist with the continuous improvement of health and wellbeing for employees through effective HR policy
Embed internal processes, frameworks and systems that cultivate and realise the value from diversity of thought, experiences and the background of our people.
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to identify, source and appoint the best talent, internally or externally
Collaborate with Learning & Development on organisational development initiatives associated with organisational growth, enhancing performance to continually drive for the achievement of our high performing, learning inclusive culture.
Continuously improve leadership capability by challenging, influencing, and supporting teams in a way that increases knowledge, understanding and ability to lead people more effectively
Collaborate with the wider HR Team to deliver key people-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Activity will cover a broad range of employment topics including; Succession, Reward, Engagement, and Organisation Design
The person we are seeking
It is important that you embrace our values and enjoy working with a diverse range of colleagues. In addition, we would hope to see some of the below:
Strong Generalist HR knowledge with the ability to coach and support line management on all areas of the employee lifecycle
Have a clear understanding of business strategy and identify the People requirements to deliver organisational goals
Experience of previous Business Partnering in a fast-paced growing company
Proven experience in developing talent and engagement strategies, plans and tools
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data effectively whilst highlighting necessary improvement action
