Val is Personal Assistant to Chief Executive Officer Nigel Perry and Chairman Jennie Younger at the Centre for Process Innovation. She is also Office Manager.
Val has 25 years experience as a Personal Assistant, 16 of which were spent working for the local government in various departments including social services where she was Personal Assistant to the Assistant Director.
Val then made the transition to North Yorkshire Probation Service where her role progressed from PA to Assistant Chief to PA to Chief Probation Officer and Chairman as well as taking on the role of office manager.
In 2002 Val was head hunted by Interserve Industrial Services where she was employed as PA to the Director. Val left Interserve in 2003 when she joined the CPI team which then consisted of just the Chief Executive Officer and herself.
Since joining CPI, Val has assisted the CEO and Chairman in the development and success of what is recognised internationally as a world-class resource supporting the Process Industry in industrial biotechnology and printable electronics.
