Find out more about the type of projects that will be funded and project timelines.
Companies receiving support
You must demonstrate that you are developing, or currently selling, a medical device, health technology, IVD. etc (as defined in the section titled “Applicant”) and that you need regulatory support for activities such as those outlined in the section titled “Project Description”, which can be found in the Competition summary. If successful, you will receive grant funding of up to £30,000 that you can use to pay for the support received from a regulatory affairs support company.
You and your provider must be able to complete this support by 5pm GMT on 19th August 2022.
Projects we will not fund
Pharma projects will not be funded unless they relate to an IVD/companion diagnostic device. Non-regulated wellness devices will not be funded. We will not fund non-UK registered companies or other legal entities and we will not fund Universities, Research and Technology Organisations (RTOs) or Catapult centres unless they have a separate spin-out company that is a UK registered company or other legal entity which is trading on a commercial basis in the UK. We will also not fund companies that are distribution-only businesses i.e., distributors. Our decision on the projects we will fund is final.
