CPI is delivering a new ERDF project, ForTaMP, which provides fully funded support for SMEs in the Leeds City Region, North and West Yorkshire.

How do we make this possible?

CPI can assist SMEs active within or seeking to access the health/​personal care, consumer goods, chemicals, materials and food & drink sectors to enhance scale-up, prototyping and applications of their technology. Support for SME product/​process development will be offered at appropriate scales — from laboratory through to pilot and prototyping, in order to help local SMEs develop and launch innovative new products.

CPI is an experienced partner supporting your path to commercialisation. Through this fully-funded ERDF programme, CPI can offer access to business services, product and process development assets and the expertise provided by our team of experienced technologists. This support is underpinned by our state-of-the-art formulation preparation and materials’ characterisation facilities. 

CPI works transparently and impartially, and our goal is to provide you with informed and straightforward advice.

Our Offer

ForTaMP provides bespoke business support, including innovation management, assistance with supply-chain issues, and advice on funding sources and technical development. 

Through ERDF ForTaMP, eligible SMEs can access CPI’s specialist advanced manufacturing facilities at NETPark in Sedgefield, County Durham:

Eligibility

Small/medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with a registered address in Leeds City Region and wider Yorkshire areas can apply for support if the following criteria are met:

  • Staff headcount less than 250 (full-time equivalents, so part-time roles are percentages of a full-time equivalent)
  • Annual turnover of less than 50 million euros
  • Net balance sheet less than 43 million euros
