Three Pillars Investment Fund
The Three Pillars Investment Fund finances SMEs in North East England, funding business growth and preparing them to attract follow-on funding. It is financed through One North East’s Innovation, Industry & Science programme and is managed by NStar Ltd on behalf of One NorthEast.
The fund targets business ideas within the three technology sectors identified for long term investment in the North East of England’s Regional Economic Strategy and known as the three pillars. These are:
- Energy
- Healthcare & Health Sciences
- Process Technologies.
Investments are likely to be made at the development to pre-seed stage, to a maximum of £125,000.
